Activity Center

We offer extended hours for all children enrolled in the school:
Mornings from 8:00 – 9:00; and after program hours from 3:00 – 4:30 (all extended hours can be scheduled either as permanent hours, or as occasional drop-in hours, and are available in half hour increments).

For the children using extended hours, we have set up two classrooms that are appropriate for all ages. The teachers welcome each child as they arrive and help them get settled in.

Morning Program:
At 9:50 the children are taken to their classroom and greeted there by their teacher.

Afternoon Program:
The children are brought to the activity center by their teacher. Stories, movement activities and free play are all part of this time. Children are picked up directly from these rooms.

The Activity Center rooms is also used during program hours for small group projects for all the classes, and for the afternoon Spanish classes that are available for children in the Three’s, Pre-K, and T-K programs.
