Activity Center
We offer extended hours for all children enrolled in the school:
Mornings from 8:00 – 9:00; and after program hours from 3:00 – 4:30 (all extended hours can be scheduled either as permanent hours, or as occasional drop-in hours, and are available in half hour increments.

Two’s

There is so much growth and change for two year olds, and the abilities between a young two and an older two can and do vary widely. At this age, children develop very quickly in all areas: language, physical abilities, emotional control and cognitive awareness. It is a frustrating experience for a young two to have to keep up with someone six or seven months older. To help alleviate some of this frustration, we have two separate programs: younger two’s (2.1 m - 2.3 years) and older two’s (2.4 years – 2.9 years)

Three’s

As with our two year olds, we provide two classrooms for our threes: younger threes (2.9 - 3.3 years) and older three”s (3.4  – 3. 9 years) Children develop so quickly at this age, and consequently there is a great difference between social, physical and cognitive skills. We think all threes should have a schedule and activities appropriate to their development level.

Pre-Kindergarten

Our pre-k program ( 3.9-4.9 years) teaches the children the necessary skills to succeed in kindergarten. Name writing, letter recognition and sound, number recognition and concept, and pre-reading skills are incorporated into all activities. The Pre-K classroom is print-rich: around the room are words, pictures, and signs to help and encourage the children to recognize many site words, and to relate them to their knowledge of the written word.

Transitional Kindergarten

Our T-K program (4.9 – 5+)  is for those children of kindergarten age whose parents want them to have one more year in a smaller and perhaps less socially-challenging environment. It’s a year to hone skills and build self-confidence.
